While I loved the artstyle, the music and some of the concert scenes, the rest was shitty. The drama was so fucking forced that it was painful.

Seriously they could have easily managed a single-cour for this.

Over half the cast could have been removed and the little bits each character contributed to MC's development could have been redistributed to the few character left, resulting in much less screentime feeling wasted on poorly written characters we don't care about, and a more tightly-presented series with all of the cast being developed characters rather than just the main duo and the childhood friend. Shitty loli was annoying and pointless and a huge detriment to the second half. Why focus on her rather than her brother, who was introduced early on and got almost 0 characterization despite an introduction that made him seem important?

I would also say the vast majority of the jokes just plain weren't funny but comedy is subjective so eh.
It had a LOT of problems, it's lucky it managed to pull of the ending well enough to make it memorable, but even the ending, as with any appeal to emotion a show can try, will affect different people differently.
Much, much less than a masterpiece in any sense of the word, and only good by any means if the ending hit your emotions like it intended to.
Subjective 8/10 because it got to me at the end.
