Presumably timestop, being something you need to counter by level 70, is a very high-level spell and countering time stop is a similarly difficult feat. I wouldn't be surprised if all he has is a mass 'slow time' effect but even that could be a tier 5-6 spell, meaning you'd need to know another tier 5-6 spell to be able to get around that. I also doubt he's thought of [gear] with anti timestop measures - you're fucking with time, which is usually an ultimate power beyond basically everything else. How could a robe counter that?
