Don't know Nip but I think it has to do with verb tense/conjugation.
Sometimes the sentence ends with -su, -sho -aru, etc. depending on the gender, age, or verb tense.

Yeah, it's a corrupted version of desu/masu form. Many Japanese take a very dim view of anyone who thinks it counts as actually polite.
>deep voice
>hisashiburi da ne
>>134474587
Jap verbs all have a polite form and a casual form. Polite form mostly all end in "(verb root)masu" with a couple exceptions (like desu). Casual form verbs have more variety in their endings, but all have an "u" sound by default, some of them also have a "su" sound at the end. And since verbs always go at the end of a sentence in Japanese, it's very easy to wind up with sentences you can do a ~sssu with.
In Japanese, verb conjugation is done by changing the vowel sounds and appending different suffixes. For certain verb categories the root word is also changed slightly. It's usually very consistent but like all languages there are a few exceptions, fortunately there aren't many irregular verbs in Japanese or else it would be a nightmare figuring out how to conjugate them.
