I just realized that Fresh will be the 400th anime I've completed. I hope it lives up to that pressure (I'm two episodes away from Cure Passion's debut and so far I really like it. Not as much as Yes 5, but its enjoyable).

Depends. IMO Fresh is good throughout with a really great finale, but it's pretty clear that some characters got shafted somewhere along the way, its power-up finisher (and the ep where they gain the finisher) is also one of the most stupid finishers in the franchise.

So I saw both Max Heart movies.
I'm slightly disappointed that the movies were only an hour each, but still, they were pretty good.

I think Splash Star is one of the best seasons behind Y5 and Fresh.
Happiness Charge did romance better than anything else in precure, even that really good Smile episode.

Honestly, probably the DX movies. Heartcatch many incredible fights, as well as some of the longest ones. GoPri has excellent shorter scenes every 2-3 episodes, as well as some really solid work during the climaxes. Smile had great cure vs general episodes.
If you just want single episodes, HC-34, Smile-23, Yes5-12.

I can. Not all good shows require tons of discussion to be considered as such. For instance, Aria is well loved, but even when it was airing what was there to say? Slice of life shows in general can be liked by tons of people, but other than talking about what you like about the characters and dumping images there's not much to be found.
Creations where we can definitively say right after finishing “It’s for this particular reason that this work is fantastic!” are nice, but we should value works where we get the feeling there’s something important in them, yet we can’t really express it, so we just mull it over and say “I’m not really sure, but I think I might be spending a lot of time with this.”

Great works inspire a lot of discussion precisely because it's not easy to put them into words. It takes a lot of time, thought, and discussion to work out what makes them tick. If it were easy, it wouldn't take any time.
To "spend a lot of time with" a work (as Fafoo says) means to think a lot about it, and if you can do that, you can write about it. If there's anything to think about, there's also things to talk about. And to put that the other way around, if there's nothing to talk about, there's nothing to think about. There's no reason to spend a lot of time with something that's not worth thinking about.

I don't that's true, some things are simply not popular no matter how good they are, just look at how Princess Tutu was not popular at all with no one back when it aired, but now is generally considered one of the best shows of the last decade or how Suite and Smile were hated in here for a long time until they have been recently accepted as good.
GoPri is having a small positive acceptance considering how fairly liked it is at this last cour, time will say how good or bad it actually was.

I feel like it's already passed alongside whatever interesting ideas it could've had. I hoped that Twilight v Flora would be a rather interesting argument of birthright against determination, or that the Flower Princess story would have some sort of under-theme for the rest of the season, or that the holy trinity of princessdom (tsuyoku - yasashiku - utsukushiku) would have more significance. Any of those would've provided at least something to chew on.

I'm not the one desperately fishing for conversation topics (and I'm not saying you are either), but that doesn't mean we can't talk about a theme of dreams and isolation. Put it into contrast with Yes 5; there, everyone was linked in one way or another by their dreams. Nozomi wanted to be a teacher like Coco and also to be with him forever (which includes Milk looking after Coco too). Urara and Komochi were connected by their literary arts, and on at least one occasion spoke about Urara acting a play Komachi writes. Rin and Karen's dreams are unrelated, but their rivalry and friendship show that they wish to remain connected even as they walk there paths. In GoPri, it's all about everyone pursuing their own dreams, and also supporting each other, but not necessarily being together. Yui's really the only one who specifically wants to bring everyone together, and that's just in her storybooks for future generations to read. It's distinct in that it shows you don't need to share absolutely everything with your friends, and it's okay to be individualistic and driven to go off on your own.

I agree with your observation that the GoPri characters are pursuing unique dreams. I don't have much of anything to add; I've been trying, but I don't see anywhere else in the show that connects to or amplifies the idea of individualism. Most of the time, the Cures' common ideals (strength, kindness, beauty) and common short-term goal (Precure) mean that they end up acting in very similar ways despite their diverging dreams, and that significantly dulls the idea. If individualism was embraced in other facets of the show than just the characters' stated dreams, it would come across more strongly.

Honey does have probably the single most powerful solo finisher, but most vital is her ability to heal her teammates and stun enemies with her song. However, every Hacha had their own shield IIRC. I don't think Twinkle is so much a support though. She does have a useful shield and a Lemonade like AOE attack, but that just makes her more of a utility mage. The combo attacks in all of Gopri rely on everyone working together.
