Leaving out Puck, other than that it was pretty good. God tier soundtrack
I haven't watched the movies though, is the general consensus that they are better or worse than the TV series?

The fact that it was never planned to have another season. I don't care about the bad animation so much, I'm more annoyed at the cuts, mainly of everything that lead into post-Golden Age.

They don't make anime like that anymore. All this digital crap looks like shit.
The only thing they did wrong was not anticipate that it would take Miura 10+ more years to finish the series. Berserk was already about 9-10 years old by the time they were making the anime.

Anime aired from 97-98. The manga started in 1990 if I'm not mistaken. Doesn't matter since adapting more was never planned.

Don't get me wrong, it had some amazin moments, (zods intro, that final siege and the eclipse) but its by far the worst arc, i pretty much skip it whenever i reread. Best arc is conviction
Shit budget, that's it. I actually prefer the art style in the anime rather than the early manga.
