You can now listen to our album along with some extras on Bandcamp! https://weeaboomusicproject.bandcamp.com

We're really in need of some percussionists, both drumset and aux. percussion. This song in particular calls for a lot of different aux. percussion parts:

We've been considering releasing a Madoka EP in time for Christmas but, as you can see, one of the songs is stalled at percussion. Also Mami's theme is stalled at Bassoon, Trumpet, and Bass.

Dude you're supposed to buy your own reeds and clean it out.
>>
>>134109774
Have you looked around yet. You get get a decent beginner trumpet for only $100 so there might be some nice deals with saxophones
>>
its ded jim
>>
>>134110347
i'm pretty sure trumpets will always be less than saxophones because they literally have less parts and are more straight forward

You can rent a brand new instrument if you're near a place that does that, it's what I'm doing.
I don't know too much about brands when it comes to instruments but I'm using a Yamaha clarinet which works fine.

Saxes are expensive if you want something that doesn't play like crap. If you're looking at alto (best value), Yamaha YAS-23 is abundant on the used market and as solid as it gets for entry-level saxes. Used saxes in general can be iffy, a lot of them are poorly maintained by the kids that use them and for woodwind instruments especially that's going to harm the playability of the instrument. There are still great deals on the used market, and I still recommend going used, just try to find the nicest looking used one you can even if it's a little more expensive. If you're worried about getting a dud, try your local music store.
Alternatively, play trumpet. Beginner trumpets are fantastic value, and can take more abuse without suffering in playability. Avoid anything but the smallest dents. Jupiter and Yamaha make the nicest student trumpets, Bach is a close second but tends to be more expensive. Some older Jupiters may be worse than a Bach, but not by much. Beginner trumpets are like a third of the cost (used) of an equivalent sax, and play twice as nice. They're also lighter to carry, quicker to set up (this is seriously important, I can never be fucked to set up my sax these days), and easier to clean (you don't). They're both considered easier instruments to learn.
