No, we didn't. This isn't an argument, you can go look for yourself, raws were unstable as fuck back then, and there are still large chunks of issues missing from even the most popular magazines (and that includes Wani magazines). The raw situation nowadays is exponentially better.

First off, you asked the wrong place. The /jp/ general only talks about the game 99% of the time (at least when it's not thread drama). Moreso since it's event time right now; you couldn't pick a worse timing to ask the question. You should've asked /a/ instead, almost as many of them play the game too, and event discussion isn't as intense there, although there's still plenty of it.
But to answer your question, while most of us would be interested in it if it's translated, it's less of because they want that particular doujin to be translated, and more of because it's something that's been translated. The /a/ thread has a pretty active translation community (by /a/ standards at least), and we'd more than welcome anything that's been translated (as long as it isn't yuri, which isn't welcomed very much there due to someone constantly spamming it there, or the translator isn't a huge faggot like that one gookfag).

Probably got drowned out in the rampant shitposting as usual; wouldn't be the first time it happened. That's the worst problem with the /a/ threads. As a result, unless you're already an established translator there (and sometimes even if you are), the only way to really know the reception to the translation is to actually translate it.
Also did you link to the doujin in question, in the /a/ or /jp/ threads? I searched the archives and other than the post in this thread, I couldn't find any other post where you linked it.

Actually, we don't mind if a translator just wants to be worshipped, as long as he isn't a huge faggot. We do expect him to at least accept constructive criticism. And not to pander to secondaries eg. don't add stuff like shireikan = commander because everyone should already know that.
And if a translator only expects worship from us he wouldn't last long anyway; our translators are subjected to a lot of banter when they aren't translating, and even if you aren't using a name or trip we have autists that can identify you just from your posting style.

Recently read a manga called Aoi gang something. That was quite the ride.

The preloading problem comes because sadpanda's pages aren't from only one source so they tend to not load at all (that's why there's a button to "refresh" the image) and given that there is so much stuff as big as your hipocrisy it can't be helped, and even then it's not a problem because pages load very fast regardless of your internet connection nowadays
