She'll try to convince you to join her side, if you refuse, that is when it gets bad. And even then, she might let you free cause she wants to fight you on the battlefield.
That's the fucking point of her. She's an S-grade monster, but if she loves you then it's legit even if you're a rebel. Gonna be a tough talk if she finds out you're rebel and decide to stay with her, but she won't kill you because you decided to stay with her.

1) Bad ending. Rebels win, Esdeath finds the Empire in ruins. Tatsumi confesses that it was all part of his plan, to keep her out of battles.
2) Good ending. Tatsumi joins Jaegers, they defeat rebels together and conquer the neighbouring countries happily ever after.
3) Bonus cuddle scene. You'll still have to make your choice later.
