I started listing it and I got titles like Kaiba, Lain, Eva and EoE, Utena, Angel's Egg, Haibane Renmei, FLCL... I started realizing this is basically my favorites list. Now I don't know if I'm just biased and their music resonates me of the title that accompanied it, or they actually do have good soundtracks.

There are some titles that aren't really high on my favorites list but still had a memorable soundtrack to me like Bebop, Gatchaman or Shinsekai Yori, but those are also titles which have a strong focus on the OST and they aren't exactly titles I dislike either.

So I guess I'm just bad at this.

Absolutely. Pretty much every season has consistently great songs.
