Manga C3-bu is more interesting as while they don't parkour or warp reality they actually do play like a team and then it depends on how hax Momoka's skills really are and this would delve into powerlevels to an uncomfortable level so it's up to your own imagination.

The manga is more logical and I disagree with >>133844799 because the sniper scene was actually important and was vital for the resolution of the final conflict, and spoilerit was not some random guy at all. In short, the manga's... see all those secondary characters in the anime that appear for a minute? Well guess what, most of them were very prominent there. That said, it's averagely funny, the story's your run of the mill sports manga, the fanservice is okay, the characters are definitely acting way saner than in the anime (Yoshinori Asao likely wanted to do something very different, as he was responsible for the story of both IIRC).
I think both stand on their own and it's fun to first see one and then see how the other one did things differently from a certain point (anime's full original content after the 24h tournament). That's assuming you're mentally prepared for this lovely trainwreck of a franchise. And even if you choose just one, do read the 4-koma, it's unrelated to the plot of either and quite hilarious - in fact it was what I would've loved to see animated instead of some of the shittier episodes.
