Daily dose time, today's is an extra large dose of probably the funniest KKOW arc: Mitsuhashi vs. Imai.
Didn't you already post that chapter yesterday?
>>133797582
>>133797576
Yeah but the thread died and if I'm gonna do the whole arc I wanna include this.
>>133797475
>>133797582
What's with the explanations. Does the mangaka think we're retards?
>>133797789
>>133797781
Probably some jap humor thing.
>>133797781
Judging by how some anons are when the reasons behind a character's actions aren't spelled out for them explicitly, maybe it is necessary.
>>133798007
And now the main arc.
I would like to appreciate you anon for posting KKOW and educating these exclusively moeshit liking plebs on /a/ what a good manga is.
Keep up the good work mate
>>133799522
Are you implying Imai isn't moe as fuck?
>>133800223
How the fuck does that work
>>133800247
they're both huge fucking idiots so it does
>>133800473
And that's all for today, thanks for reading.
>>133800509
Thank you
>>133800509
Thanks for posting kind anon
>>133797781
It's comedy, and it's funny, you get used to how crazy Mitsuhashi is but this explanations put into perspective and reminds you like shit Mitsuhashi really is on another level, I mean who would do that in real life?
>>133801979
I'm pretty sure lots of people read letters intended for somebody else.
>>133802055
Yeah but they don't destroy them, they try to be sneaky about it so the person doesn't find out, Mitsuhashi doesn't give a fuck.
>>133802174
I don't know man. People do worse shit in real life.
I ain't sayin' it's normal or anything, just that there's people that would do that.
>>133797781
It's like a less annoying substitute for a straight man.
>>133797781
You should read these with Fumihiko Tachiki's voice in your head
Christ this arc is so good, Mitsuhashi is the devil himself, top notch acting as well.
>>133803193
>top notch acting as well
Someone should make a collage with all the out of context pages and panels where Mitsuhashi's acting nice.
Hey I gotta ask in regards to Rokudenashi Blues, for people that have read KKOW, Be-Bop High or Cromartie High? Would you consider Rokudenashi Blues to be up there with those as well? Is it undoubtedly one of the best ones or not as good as the ones mentioned?
>>133803354
It's pretty good, more focused on fighting than BBH, KKOW or Cromartie and has much better art, but comedy wise it can't touch them.
>>133803354
I like it as well as those, but for a different reason.
Will all the Be-bop High OVAs ever be subbed? If they are, will you be dead by then?
>>133804805
Only 4 to go, seems doable.
>>133804805
I'm sure it'll be done at least within our lifetimes.
Another bump.
>>133797475
>roses are red
>violets are blue
>the weather is nice
>and Mitsuhashi's a moron
>>133797613
>Riko, this is the men's room
Mitsuhashi really is something else
>>133800395
beautiful
Is BR chapter 11 almost done?
>>133808150
Perfect love letterto Mitsuhashi.
>>133803354
Anybody else has read some of those that cares to give some input? Or to put the question in another way for anyone that has read their fair share of delinquent manga.
Which do you OBJECTIVELY (more or less) consider to be the very best, the ones at the top?
>>133814153
I really don't get the point of asking for personal opinions if you want objective answers.
>>133815254
I think he means overall, not objective.
>>133815254
Because it's impossible to be completely objective so in reality just about every answer is gonna be an opinion, that's why I said More or Less, but despite that I'm asking people to try and be as objective as they can.
>>133814153
Chartfag is probably the person on here who has read the most delinquent manga which is available in english and he puts KKOW at the top and maybe BBH after it. I can't remember why though, I know he doesn't like over powered MCs who do too many impossible things which is why he doesn't like Maeda Taison in Rokudenashi or Bouya in Crows.
I personally like Rokudenashi Blues the most out of anything I have read delinquent wise. It has the best art of any delinquent manga, and pretty much of most manga in general. I like the humour in it but it's obviously never going to be as good as something which is a dedicated gag manga like KKOW is. I find myself liking the characters and their interactions more in RokuBlues than anything else. At the end of the day, the thing i like the most about delinquent manga is that they are stories about strong friendships, I that is developed very nicely in RokuBlues, moreso than the others.
For what it's worth from an 'objective' viewpoint, I think Rokudenashi Blues is the best selling delinquent manga and it used to be outrageously highly rated in WSJ (shit outranked Dragonball and Saint Seiya at times).
>>133816086
Did they really put cunt in the volume title?
>>133818300
I never noticed that until now.
>>133818499
>>133818300
It's a lyric from The Clash. A few of the chapters are song titles/lyrics.
>>133816086
I'm chartfag thought, that's why I'm asking, I figured I was gonna do it sooner or later because I'm not sure if people would agree with my RokuBlues placement, but seems like not many have even read it in the first place. I don't dislike OP MCs thought, I actually really like them. Only think that I really dislike are either moralfag gary stu's and really over the top stuff that takes itself seriously. Maeda and Bouya are pretty cool MCs no doubt.
Like imagine if Mitsuhashi didn't exist and the series was about Itou alone, it would get pretty tiring wouldn't it? But anyways, thanks for the input, I don't know why I was hesitating so much anyways, RokuBlues should be at the top, maybe because it's been a while since I read it.
Also, if ya'll ever wondered how Maeda would loook without his sick pompadour, see pic related.
>>133821575
Assuming nothing else changes, it'd only get boring because Itou gets taken advantage of way too easily.
>>133822083
Relly, only that? That's how little you think of Mitsuhashi? Itou isn't even funny, and if he's its mostly because he's embarrassing and Mitsuhashi laughs at him or something like that. Well I guess Sagawa would become a main part of the cast and Riko wouldn't even be in Itou's school.
>>133821575
It'd be worse for sure, but not necessarily bad. Imai would work better asan MC than Itou though.
>>133823016
I never said that nothing would be lost if Mitsuhashi wasn't around bullying people, faggot.
>>133823702
I never implied that you said nothing would be lost if Mitsuhashi wasn't around bullying people. But you said the ONLY reason it would get boring is because Itou gets taken advantage of way too easily. Really, that'd be the only reason?
>>133811238
Yes it is. Going to upload now
>>133824364
Sweet.
>>133811238
Sorry if I sound new, but whats BR?
>>133824491
Bakuon Rettou.
>>133824491
Bakuon Rettou
Thanks OP, probably my favorite KKOW arc. Also, a great short arc starring everyone's favorite NAKANO is directly after this!
>>133824251
When I say "only" it's because I don't think out what words I'm going to use until after I press the submit button.
>>133824693
>>133824706
Thanks anons
>>133824706
That Volume 18 cover posted yesterday got me really exited to watch the MC grow, can't wait to read this thing.
>>133826546
I feel the same way... On a side note... C11V2 was just uploaded. I forgot to add the cover pages and content page. Thank you to the new editor that showed up. I appreciate it.
>>133825051
Ha, like anyone puts thought into their posts.
Also, that was a weird read.
>>133826963
Weird is cutting it short.
>>133824364
Damn, I liked Gerako.
>>133827052
That looks like some alt comics level weirdness.
>>133827453
Me too unfortunately.
Well after 55 chapters I think it's more than safe to take this off the list since it's not that big on the delinquency after the first few chapters, consdering it has 42 voumes and on-going that is. It's still pretty good if anyone likes Slam Dunk you might like this, only shit about it is the below average scans, the improve after some chapters but the cleaning quality is still pretty bad.
But I'm still kinda hesitating because now I wonder if Rookies and Angel Voice are even a delinquent manga, because they have a shitload of chapters, especially Angel Voice.
Always glad to see other delinquent fans around, it's such a great genre of manga.
Reminder to check out Saru Lock.
>>133799729
There's a difference between moe and moeshit.
Moe is a description, moeshit is basically a genre.
>>133829818
>I think it's more than safe to take this off the list
What list?
What's the point of a biker gang? Why can't they just ride normally?
Do they do any profitable illegal things? It seems like they're risking jail time for absolutely nothing.
>>133835916
If it's anything like modern day gangs then it's more because it gives them a sense of the family/friends they never had.
>>133837536
Don't they risk jail time just for riding if they're under 18 years of age?
>>133797419
I like the crude art style so much.
>>133835916
Because fuck the police.
one more bump
>>133835916
In a way they do like the idea of being a gang because is a youth's mentality, it makes them cool and tough, gives them a thrill as well but a big part of why they're a gang is due to outside forces. Starting with this >>133839399, the fact alone that they ride motorcycles already makes them illegal due to age so they gotta escape the police, the othe thing is that even if they decide to "not be a gang" and be good kids, there are other gangs out there already and they would let them ride in peace in their streets so there would be altercation want it or not, escalating things, becoming a gang issue want it or not.
>>133844088
wouldn't let them ride*
>18 posters
Delinquent threads don't get enough love.
>>133844088
Oh wow, the art in Hot Road looks a lot better than I thought based on the first chapter. Background are still almost non-existent though.
>>133844212
Yeah, it's really similar to Hana no Asukagumi! But it's not by the same author so I wonder if it was a common thing for shoujos at the time. The Hot Road art is still better I think.
>>133844278
Yeah it's definitely smoother, and I like the sort of dazed expressions they have, but it's even harder to tell characters apart than Hana no Asukagumi was.
>>133844695
Yeah characters are hard to tell apart but not because of the art style alone but because they're not introduced very well. Think I only got who the MC was and her name by like chapter 3.
Daily dose time, now with more Nakano!
Can I download Bakuon Rettou chapter 7+ somewhere or is it online readers only?
>>133846255
>いたう
>Itou
>>133803354
It's the best delinquent manga ever.
>>133846981
And that's all for today, thanks for reading.
>>133847031
What? No. This is bullshit.
>>133847031
Sleepy Nakano a qt
>>133846829
>>133847121
>expecting shipping in KKOW
You better learn to laugh at that shit now because it's only gonna get harder.
>>133847452
But getting depressed about girls is only for that kissless virgin Imai.
Gonna start reading this, hope it hooks me. The anime wasn't bad but I have memories of it being tedious at times.
>>133845437
Download from online readers, there's multiple programs for it.
>>133845437
There was a mega upload of it when they finished, you could probably find it on desu.
>>133821575
>RokuBlues should be at the top
It really does mate. Despite any shortcomings it might have, it really is one of the GOATs of manga, just generally speaking.
>>133851172
I just wish a group like HnG or something would work on it. Then we'd have some inclination of when we might get to read the next chapter.
>>133851858
I'm surprised they haven't since it's their sort of thing. Probably have too much going on already.
>>133852516
Yeah, as long as they keep doing Be-bop I'm not too bothered. Though only one person working on RokuBlues isn't exactly what would be best, but I have faith.
>>133852756
On the topic of Be-bop's subs, how long do you think it'll be till all 7 are subbed? I think it'll be in early 2017 if we keep going at the pace the first 3 were released
>>133853726
That sort of thing can change pretty drastically depending on the whims of groups working on it.
The next episode could be done next week, in a few months, or NEVER.
>>133855523
Who cares about the episodes, I want the manga! Shit's all translated already. Just needs cleaning and TS, I don't know why they even bother translating SFX, the manga doesn't even have much redrawing.
Someone should make one of these for delinquent manga.
>>133798749
Why the fuck I laughed so hard
>>133855864
Jesus christ, some of these suggestions make me want to tear my hair out in frustration.
>>133855772
I chuckled
>>133798108
Oh shit, I remember it now. Yeah, it was freaking great.
>>133855772
Cuz Hiroshi and Tohru laughing at each other and at other people is the most important dialogue.
>>133835916
Is this by the old TS or the new one? The speech bubbles seem too full, in some cases its good to reduce the text size by 1 pt. to leave more white space in the speech bubbles, makes it easier on the easy and to read.
>>133857319
FACT.
>>133856286
Dont be a faggot.
>>133857938
No.
>>133858546
No, you want to be a faggot?
>>133858601
Yes.
>>133858699
okay.
>>133857527
they have a new editor
