First the writing goes near the end of the Arrancar arc, and then the fights turn into shit, during the Fullbring arc, they were literally nothing but curbstomps, and now they're just each character showing their full power for the first time and it just comes off as contrived this late in the game.

If it had ended after the soul society arc and Rukia had gone back to earth with him then he could have carried on being the substitute shinigami on patrole in karankura. Rukia didn't need to get her powers back (she was pretty fucking miserable prior to meeting Ichigo and the majority of SS where happy to sit back and let her get executed so fuck em) and she could have lived an normal human life. The life she never got to experience because she died as a baby.
The only thing that really needs tweaking is adding an extra Aizen battle at the end of the SS arc to finish him off, explain his motives etc, and you'd have a nice, neat, reasonably lengthed shounen series.
Then Kubo could have gone on to make a new series. He's always desperate to make new characters and hed be far more successful at that if he started a new series rather than trying to cram even more characters into an allready over crowded series.

While the anon is sort of right, it makes me wonder why Kubo would let the anime people carry on like that if they where seriously misinterpreting his work. If the anime team where pushing for an ichiruki end but Kubo was planning a ichihime end that would have caused some issues down the line, had the anime not been cancelled.
