Really, at this point there is no rush to put Saitama in S rank. He is already moving through the ranks so fast that most people in the know assumed that he would get into S without them helping him. That's why none of them did or say anything.
If Saitama was still A rank after a year, then maybe one of his acquaintances would speak up. But for now there is no need because the existing system of promotions seems to be working.
We just have Sweet Mask as the final hurdle.

So heres an idea for an extra chapter. We finally meet Metal Bats imouto, who fed up with her brother not being around for him lately decides to play a trick on by pretending to get a boyfriend. Problem is no-one she knows is willing to risk her brothers wrath. Suddenly she happens across a Demon level monster about to assault a combination elderly home/orphanage/lost animal refuge and prepares to defeat it, but before she can it is defeated by Saitama. She then convinces him to pretend to be her boyfriend for the day (with the promise of delicious home-cooking). Hi-jinks ensue as she goes around showing him off so that word will spread to her brother, while people show disgust towards Saitama for dating a girl so much younger than him. When they get to the family house we meet thier parents, who while initially skeptical come to admire him being nice and helpful. At a meeting for Metal Bat's gang of delinquents beloved by the community for thier public service, Metal Bat shows up pissed off. Demanding to see Saitama, He and his Imouto start arguing before Saitama intercedes and reminds them that family shouldn't have such petty squabbles. The both make up to each-other and Saitama leaves after thanking her for the meal.

Then we've got the tankaboun, which is published physically and digitally by Viz (this is where the redraws are).
It's been a LONG time since Murata has redrawn a part in the webmanga. The last time was the 51st chapter, when he replaced it (Sourface guy was an asshole in the first version and Saitama got into a bit of a tussle with him; the redrawn version has Sourface being a rude guy, but is generally pretty disciplined and not that derisive towards Charanko). Before that, however, the last redraw was WAAAAAY back in the 34th/35th chapter depicting Boros' fight against Saitama (instead of kicking him to the moon, he tried to crush him with a part of his ship).
So you're definitely not missing much at all, depending on how long you've been following this manga.

A lot of folks in the OPM universe dont seem to understand the gravity of situations. When Saitama finished off Seaking, the people didn't think Saitama was strong, they just thought the heroes were weak, and because they lost they were worthless despite fighting to protect people.
