Finished reading the spoiler, I still don't get the point of this Kamisato dude. His whole character felt really rush and his power is not very creative, it's like Kamachi don't know what to do with the story so he toss this guy to clear the mess and be done with it.
I know that the power level and and story for this series is a mess but when it come to character's "power' kamachi always make it 'wow' somehow but this kamisato dude is just meh.

First, that's not how Idol Theory works. An idol cannot become as strong as the original. Else Saints would be literally above magic gods.
Second, someone already tried to do that in that one PSP game. Look up Pentagruel.
Third, and most importantly, Aleister is not an innate being of power (ie the source, like God or other divine beings [note: magic gods != God]), so you won't be getting any power from him. At best, you may be able to affect him via reverse Idol Theory.
Finally, no one knows what Aleister looks like. If you take his old image, you'd just be making an idol of a normal magician, which is even more worthless than doing nothing at all.

These "developments" take about 3-4 novels to appear, so it'll be a while before we see Misaka actually back up her desires.
Moreover, being relevant usually has a character get severely injured, and take note that Misaka has never been injured in ALL the mediums she appears in.
