Another is possibility is repackaging lizardmen's wine from Great Wine Pot, which is infinite, and use the item box to convert it into gold.

The story of Ainz's conquest of the NW already happened thousands of years ago. He successfully united the whole continent under one leader and became emperor until 4 new very powerful players called God Hands arrived and destroyed his empire. Ainz, the former King of Nazarick is now only known in legends as "King Gaiserick", a corrupted form of his name. Nobody knew that Ainz survived and assumed a new identity as Skull Knight, a dark spectre riding a Soul Eater and roams the land hunting and killing players that has been corrupted by their own powers.

The npcs are alot weaker outside of Nazarick so it could be feasible in it's own little way. Shalltear goes from holding off 3 floors at once for presumably a decent amount of time vs hundreds/thousands of pcs to smashed in a 1v1 by a guy she hard counters. The hard part is organizing all of the player resources for a proper defense before some idiot thinks he's Ghenghis Khan when he's already technically living in a city of the gods beyond the imaginings of mere mortals.
TLDR Dungeon/Base buffs probably render each stronghold impenetrable but they would still be strong enough to pose a challenge/nuisance everywhere else.

Each "Racial" class probably has the same mechanics as LA'd monsters, though.
Get enough levels in the class, you get a special ability. First level grants immunities and weaknesses, etc.

That's the Horror's that await in TGTON, a travel in a remote area with poisonous swamps, 3 floors of look alike walls and a selfhealing min-maxed boss that hit's and runs in the rooms filled with double traps , walls and ceilings filled with exploding undead, patrols of mid level- high level liches who attack at a distance and flee when you get close, mini-bosses and teleporting traps to break you apart (temple of chaos in FF 1) along with normal traps ment not to kill but simply annoy and waste time.

Each floor requires different resistances so you need to carry alot of gear which can be droped or lost or stolen.
