Let me start out by saying that I'm into older women and various related fetishes, so I'm not trying to ridicule anyone here for their tastes: I share them with you.
That said, relationships like these are impossible because they're an evolutionary abomination. Like it or not, biologically speaking women are hypergamous ie. they will always date, marry and fuck "up". This is only natural, as it is a womans instinct to look for the best mate who can give her child good genes as well as provide for him. On the other hand we have the male desire for dominance, which is simply the desire to appeal to hypergamous women. This is also why men will never stick up for eachother in the same way women do (muh feminism, muh patriarchy): male-male competition is part of evolution, sadly.
In the light of the above, older women dating younger men is seen as somply fetishistic that only has a real presence on porn websites. Evolutionarily speaking, a woman dating a younger man is almost always dating down: younger men almost always have less money, less power, less social influence and thus worth less, while a woman always wants to date someone better than her. Conversely, not all older women age well which means most have nothing to offer to young men who desire youth and beauty (even us guys like older women who age well ie. retain youthful looks).
So why are anime about older women and younger men so uncommon? Because it's an evolutionary abomination and only a tiny minority of the anime watching audience is even into it in the first place. That said, I've foun that there are many more manga with this relation dynamic than anime, probably because manga can sustain themselves with a much smaller audience due to relatively low production costs. Unbalance x Unbalance (technically manwha), Sensei Lock-On and Oyomegatari are just a few I could name.

You know what's great about those historical companionships that seem to have gone out of fashion? They're all-male.
