Sensei has to step in to get him to wake up. Yui calls both Yukino and 8man out on their absurd lack of proper comunication, and 8man's "loner" mask finally falls as he tells Yui and Yukino what he really wants, and he really feels about their club. Yukino realizes that it's not 8man that doesn't understand things, but it's everyone, including herself.
By far the most important arc of the series, and a pivotal moment for 8man's character development. Yukino also finally starts to change.

8man takes that reason away when he convinces Iroha to be the prez, without sacrificing himself. The thing is, even though Komachi made a request for him to save the club, there's another reason behind his actions, even if he won't admit it just yet.
While Yukino got pissed at him, she's about to find out that he's not the only one who doesn't completely understands their situation.
Continue watching, the next arc is incredible, and the best one in the series so far.
