Gonna dump Satoshi Kon's Opus.
Doesn't seem to be on Mangaupdates, so I'l *very* briefly resume the story:
>A mangaka gets sucked into his own work. Surreal shit happens, à la Satoshi Kon.
It's pretty great, so get on board.
>Doesn't seem to be on Mangaupdates
You retarded or something?
>>124532551
For the description. Forgot to mention that.
Gonna skip the blank pages.
I've generally enjoyed works by Satoshi Kon so I'm quite excited.
>>124532481
>Satoshi Kon
I'm in.
Did Seraphim ever get scanned?
>>124533180
>No one looks at the backrounds anyways
>>124533178
No idea. I only found Opus because it was licensed. In fact I only read it because I found the licensed version in a library.
>>124533178
No, but it was published by dark horse.
Someone can buy it and do a scan of it.
Note the late replies and general lack of commentary; I'm just reading along 'cause I'm kinda multitasking right now.
It was all a dream!
Just kidding.
>>124533865
im on the edge of my seat!
But what does this have to do with Eden Radio?
>>124533979
Nothing. I just feel like dumping manga.
>Dec 9, 2014
Man, scanners are quick these days.
Don't forget, if you like it, buy it. He also has a short story collection coming out next month from Vertical.
Opus was good/decent for a book with no ending, Seraphim is rather slow(so far I haven't finished it yet.)
>>124534217
It's pretty damn ironic how Opus "ended" though. I could buy Seraphim but I have pretty much no idea how to scan properly.
>>124534217
>buying works from dead authors
>>124534217
I actually liked the way Opus "ended" with that extra unpublished chapter. It was sudden but felt very fitting for a Kon work.
Seraphim started out okay, but slowly gets better and more compelling until the story ends having only just begun. Shame it was never continued.
Tropic of the Sea was boring and forgettable. I wonder if they'll ever bring his World Apartment Horror manga out.
>>124534476
It's nice to own a physical copy.
>>124534487
I'm not a huge Kon fan so I haven't read his other works, unfortunately. I'll definitely keep an eye out for Seraphim though, thanks.
>>124533416
Oh yes, Satoshi Kon as fuck.
>>124534541
Dream Fossil is fun, if you enjoy a mix of dystopian sci-fi/psychic powers stories and madcap comedies.
>>124534678
Thanks. I'll have to do a Satoshi Kon day or something.
Shit is about to get weird.
>>124535176
No need to bump it bruv.
>>124535227
Unless you're switching IPs while you do this, he does. OP posts don't bump threads.
Thanks anon.
By the way, do you have mega links or something like that ?
>>124535283
Call me a newfag, but I had no idea.
>>124535349
I got it off manga.madokami.
>>124535366
Well, didn't always work like that.
Really annoying, since it can fuck over storytime threads.
So meta.
>>124535982
You ain't seen nothing yet.
>>124536196
>Uran and Atom
That's a really nice reference. Didn't expect that.
>>124536267
Sasuga Satoshi Kon. I wonder if Tetsuwan Atom aired in Resonance's world?
Shit, what was the name of that series with the similar premise, except the author is trying to kill off his lead heroine and fills the role of the demon lord?
>>124536339
Wakarimasen lol.
>>124536382
>Wakarimasen lol
Please, don't.
Bark!
No! You don't understand!

Loll, v.
>1. To act lazily or indolently; to recline; to lean; to throw one's self down; to lie at ease.
>2. To hang extended from the mouth, like the tongue of an animal heated from exertion.
>3. To let the tongue hang from the mouth in this way.
I used to like this word, before the internet made it impossible to use without people misinterpreting it.
>>124537338
>>124537153
No fighting, you two.
>>124537338
Okay?
>>124537470
S-sowwy lawrell
goddamit lawrelll, its fucking saturday, are you trying to kill me?
Now things get weird.
>>124537792
Why would I want that?
>satoshi kon
>but OP is a *faggot*
Shit thread, on review.
>>124537845
i mean the mood of music you are playing,
i know is your style and everything.. but can you cheer it up a little bit?
>>124538390
Oh. Sure, I was just trying to put some music that's easy to read to.
>>124538549
thanks. nice dump btw
Gonna need a bump soon.
>>124538390
>>124538549
What music are you talking about? I'm pretty sure I'm missing something.
Is it embedded mp3 files in the images? I thought they didn't work anymore.
>>124539410
I run an internet radio. It's totally unrelated to the dump, butgoogle edenofthewestif you're curious.
>>124539553
Does Satoshi Kon inspire you to play Susumu Hirazawa? Not that I'm complaining.
>>124539696
You know it. Played something off Paprika earlier, too.
>>124540036
He did it.
>>124540676
>Does someone write his world too...?
We need to go deeper.
>>124540757
Did God kill off Satoshi Kon to entertain a greater power?
>>124532481
How many chapters is this?
>>124541018
19, plus one extra.
>>124541018
>>124541134
Abrupt ending, though.
>>124541358
Was she kill?
>>124541623
Super kill.
>>124541613
>Weird, its not in my notes.
INCEPTION CIRCULATE

Related to the thread
What do you think was the best thing Kon ever created?
>>124541892I'm ashamed to admit that I've only seen Paprika so far. As I said, I'll have myself a Satoshi Kon day eventually.
>>124532481
Seems like short haired girls were Kon's type.
We're past the midpoint, by the way.
>>124542494
KRIEEEGER-SAAAN!
