it was late at night, all the lights were off, the only thing illuminating the darkness was clannad after story playing on my computer with incredibly high brightness. I had been sitting there for hours with minimal blinking, my eyes were red and i couldnt take it much longer. I shut my eyes and they had a huge fucking seizure or something, when i opened them again, i was crying in a desperate attempt to moisturize my cornea.

I've watched all the romantic shoujo and almost every serious romantic shounen (which isn't otaku bait or tits coaster) from 00's and 10's. There is, it may be, better anime as a whole, like H&C for instance, but no other show made me cry like a little girl.
