I'm an Aifag and think she is the best girl, but her and Junichi's relationship seem very short-lived and juvenile, the type of high school relationship that doesn't last long.
This is more believable:
They date for a while, the relationship stagnates, petty arguments and tension occurs, or Ai gets "bored" of him, then they break up.
Ai and Junichi go on to see other people in college.
Years later when they are both in the work force and much more mature, they meet up again, rekindle their relationship and end up going long-term this time.
This is one of the VN endings as well and is much more believable than a high school crush that transitions seamlessly into lifelong marriage.
