Has it been abandoned by the translators?

>not knowing Japanese
I put it off for the longest time and just marathoned the 13 volumes the other day. It had a lot less suffering than I expected, for better or worse. Great manga, even though it annoyed me slightly in the same way Slam Dunk did:
>introduce some cute girls
>ignore them completely because MUH BASKETBALL
I mean, I'm not expecting focus to shift on romance or anything, but at least acknowledging how much the childhood friend and the ugly girl did for they guys would be nice.
>>124241064
Wait isn't this about wheelchair basketball? What is a guy like that doing in it?
>>124242556
It's Jimmy from Degrassi.
>>124241993
I don't think a regular truck can be that big.
>>124242678
Manlet Japanese high school student, huge garbage truck, exaggeration for dramatic effect, choose your pick.
>>124241993
>>introduce some cute girls
>>ignore them completely because MUH BASKETBALL
But that's how manliness works, anon.
>>124244348
The ending of Slam Dunk was perfect.
>>124242556
It's about wrasslin' silly.
>>124241064
Illuminati scanlates by volume, so it'll be out sometime this or next month. We get about a volume a year because it's a bimonthly series. Welcome to the struggle.
>>124242556
It's about a wrestler an otaku and a high-schooler in the hospital together.
>>124244723
The regular ending or the "10 Days After" ending?
>>124241064
Isn't it licensed?
>>124244817
>Illuminati
When are they going to finish shamo ?
>>124241993
>>124244097
Even a serious manga can't be saved from the "japanese truck 'o death"
>>124244817
Yeah. Volumes thirteen and twelve were sold and released
>2013/11/22 - 04/20/14
>2012/11/22 - 05/21/13
Fourteen sold -
>2014/12/19
So just looking at the recent volumes suggest that we could have the next volume within a month. Hopefully, miss this one a lot.
>>124244817
BIMONTHLY, wtf I didn't know that was a thing, monthly alone should be considered a criminal offence now you tellin' me these guys have 2 months to draw a single chapter?
>>124241064
Its crazy how underappreciated and little known this manga is, I mean just look at the lack of comments on this thread, and we're talking about one of the most highly acclaimed mangaka ever, with 2 of his works being amongst the top 10 or 20 best sold manga in history or something like that, with Slam Dunk and Vagabond being ridiculously popular on the west, especially Vagabond sharing popularity on the same vein of Berserk and another on-going series of his is barely ever talked about and no one even knows about it, it jst makes no sense.
>>124247436
A series about handicapped people is probably too SJW for most people.
>>124247436
Because this is actually one of his best works that doesn't rely on pre built narrative mechanics.
Slam dunk is a shounen and people are easily drawn by the friendship, fighting spirit etc. stuff
Vagabond is an extremely romanticized version of the real musashi, that take upon war, revenge, the search of oneself, rivalry etc.
All that stuff that people generally love.
Real is more like shamo, a roller-coaster of emotions that try to keep a realistic point of view on the story.
>>124241536
W-why the fuck is Brock lesnar in a manga?
>>124247436
>little known this manga is
I think most mangafags around here know about it, even if they don't talk about it much. It certainly comes up in one page threads and occasionally in sports threads.
>>124250231
I doubt it, and even if they've vaguely heard about it chances are they haven't read it. Never seen it on OPTs either. Still tho, this manga should be way more popular than it is right now, guess people really like staying away from sports manga.
>>124250633
>Never seen it on OPTs either.
It's literally in every other OPT if not every OPT
>>124251088
bullshit its not.
>>124251869
Go check the OPT then.
>>124247324
Inoue does Vagabond too anon.
