No. If anything this arc is going to begin a new line of development which removes the importance of the promise. First Komi highlights the problem by making Raku say he won't confess unless Kosaki is the promise girl. I don't think the pendant is going to be destroyed but Raku will probably learn that being so attached to this pointless promise from the past is making him miss out on what's right in front of him.
