If you read the spoilers, you can easily apply those for Megumi too. She even develops more than Eriri in volume 7. The anime removes a lot of the sides to her personality and leaves her deadpan most of the time.

This is why you shouldn't judge things based on spoilers. She didn't just shed "some" tears. The impact a character who is usually indifferent and doesn't let her emotions and feelings out makes when she finally gives in and expresses everything with great emotion is arguably greater than anything Eriri has shown so far.
