There are dozens of translators for this shit. They just seem to have something up their asses with baka-tsuki or something. Apparently even Ren which is the translator from Coiling Dragon is a translator for Mushoku Tensei. It's like they decided to use Mushoku's Tensei translation page on baka-tsuki as a list of translators on the whole internet, except none of them gets up off their dicks to translate shit.

If you aren't reading Coiling Dragon, do so, it is awesome and there are 3-4 chapters translated daily. Tsuyokute New Saga is probably the best but so far both the manga and the light novel translation only have a few chapter, not to mention TensaiZ (the translator) is a self-inserting fag that puts "translation notes" which are basically his opinions in the middle of the story..
So, in order of more chapters translated to less:
Coiling Dragon: 11 volumes translated, 3-4 chapter per day. Martial Arts pursuing immortality story. 9/10
Stellar Transformations: Several volumes translated, maybe even more than Coiling Dragon, max 2 chapters a week, same tropes as CD and by the same author. 9/10
Swallowed Star: Not that much translated, by the same author as the above but set in a world with modern technology after apocalyptic events. 8/10
Zhan Long: Over 100 chapters translated. Story about a guy that does security work and has to protect the daughter of a rich guy, she goes to a VR world and he has to protect her there too, so basically LMS. I heard people saying the end is terribly and gets really repetitive, but it is a fun read specially to marathon. 7/10
Douluo Dalu: Not by the same author, MC reincarnates but not from "our" world, but from one fantasy world to the other. It is actually really fun to read even though there are only around 100 chapters translated as of yet. 9/10
Tsuyokute New Saga: Mc defeats demon lord, is almost dead, all his friends are dead, goes back in time using some kind of legendary gem that contains the souls of over half of the population. When he does so, he has double the magic power he had as well as knowledge from the future. 10/10 but only 20 chapters.

IET's works are pretty solid. Don't like Swallowed Star nearly as much as the others, but Desolate Era is looking to be good.
Zhan Long is alright. The interactions between the real world's gaming society and the game are a bit better than LMS or Ark, but the game elements are rather shitty so far.
Doulou Dalu is good, although I prefer the side translation the translator's doing.
I want to read Tsuyokute, but those Re:Translations fuckers aren't too dependable.

Stellar Transformation is shit compared to Coiling Dragon. Which is kinda strange considering that ST came after CD. Coiling Dragon actually takes it's time progressing the plot (instead of shooting through power levels at light speed), has the protagonist gain power through training rather than "lol luck/superstronkfriends/leetweapons", and also has side characters that still stay relevant after 5+ volumes.
And yeah, Coiling Dragon has a bit more romance than Stellar Transformations.And Linley, the MC, doesn't end up a hundred million year old virgin like Qin Yu

The world of ST was created by Linley, maybe the author felt that the world created by Linley couldn't be better than the world that created Linley so he decided to change some dynamics and make shit different.
I really like ST so I don't know, it might be up to taste. People don't seem to like the "absorbing the power of opponents" stuff, but I think the way CD works sometimes is really annoying, even though Linley is a genius he still takes years sometimes to make a breakthrough.

Not him but my main problem is how stupid the conflict resolution is in ST. After the kingdom civil war arc, all conflict goes like this:
1. Meet super strong opponent that MC can't hope to defeat
2. Through either: luck/being best buds with strong people/internal conflict/having really good items earned through said luck/internal conflict/strong people
3. Defeat the opponents
4. Get their soul orbs, absorb their power, loot the shit, and go back to #2
And it just repeats on and on and on again.
Here is a list of every single conflict Qin Yu has been in after the civil war arc:
-Struggle against octopus
-Make friends with monkey
-Kill octopus and other schemers in single blow. Get their yuanying to level up
-Serving under red python
-Take advantage of fight between dragon and serpent
-Grab jade sword + both of their yuanying to level up even more
-Piss off the three powers
-Get carried by Uncle Lan
-Go to immortal mansion
-Finds keystone by dumb luck/!girlfriend's knowledge
-Steals yuanying of somebody dozens of levels above himself
-Gets amazingly rare ring by dumb luck
-Pick a fight against all the good and evil sects
-Super Regen from Tear + Super-Stealth from Mansion + OP flame from ring wrecks everything
-Picks fight against the immortal envoys
-Undergoes hardest 9th tribulation ever
-Oh gee, I'm sure glad Uncle Lan has given me sword puppet that can slaughter everything in the current realm with little effort

I used to feel this way about translations, but once you've read enough of them, you start to be able to deal with awful translations, until it barely registers that the translation is awful. I had a harder time reading some of re Translations shit with all the garbage translator notes than I do with most machine translations.
As far as MT, most of it is adequately translated, and I remember being conscious of poor quality very few times during the reading (not to say it's good or well-done, just that it's decidedly readable if you're genuinely interested).
