Hello /a/. I subbed that one Tokyo Encounter episode with Mamoru Miyano about a month ago, and I just noticed a new one came out recently with Sumipe in it. I love her and I love TE so I decided to sub it for you. The quality isn't that great and I've probably made a few mistakes, but whatever, I hope you enjoy it.

Most commonly schedule conflicts. Then there's Sugita and Nakamura knowing only so many people, and surely not all of them are gamers.
Also, individual members of Sphere keep turning them down, but that may just be a running joke.

The filmings are done in a single day and they edit two episodes out of each (Miyano getting three has been the only exception so far).
The second season has gone for 8 episodes, which means that even in the best scenario you'd had only four guests.
Also, it's obviously hard to match three more popular seiyuu's schedules for a whole day.

It's probably more of a running gag, though Sugita did co-star with all of Sphere on Belzebub and he told on some episode that he has spoken with each one about the subject.

The first season ended after 24 episodes. Like >>120785669 said, it ended without incidents (they probably wanted to finish with Mizuki Nana). If they had cancelled it "because Sugita did too many dirty jokes", the very first episode would have never aired.
After that, Nakamura and Uchida Maaya had new show, Hekatonkeiru's Choice, which was nowhere near as popular (most likely because the chemistry between Nakamura and Uchida was terrible).
Then, a new one-hour special of TE aired at the beginning last year. After that, HC suddenly ended and the second season of TE was announced. On the first episode, Sugita and Nakamura said they had got ridiculous amounts of requests for a second season after the new year special (and probably even before that).

I've always wondered why Nakamura never references Sugita's shows or Sugita never self references his work. Sugita never mentions anything Haruhi related, nor do they ever comment about Blazblue.
