Here's the last translation.
Thanks to everyone that worked to make these into the VN.
To wake the sleeping princess up, you definitely need a kiss from the Hero, right?
>>120360288
So we're just one insertion away?
dokidokiwakuwaku
>>120360288
Good work, anon.
>>120360288
You're all heroes.
I'm wondering if anyone saw the joke translation put into that script.
>>120361062
>that navel
That'a bit too skintight there.
>>120360795
Funny how the whole last thread not a single person posted crack shit.
Almost like you not being around makes threads better.
>I don't care that I'm shitting all over the characters aren't I cool
>>120361170
That image is part of a series where the very idea of a crack pairing is the joke because Sonoko is the one writing stories with the crack pairings.
All these said comics end up with Togo lecturing Sonoko on the importance of Yuna x Mimori.
>>120361234
I am aware. And that matters not, for two reasons.
One, even as a joke it's still shitting on the characters.
And two, it was the posters intent to insult the characters.
And I guess three, that artist has draw other crack images. So you know his intent behind the drawing.
>>120361314
You need to get that stick out your ass. Why am I even responding to you?
>>120361314
>>120361338
>Why am I even responding to you?
Seriously, wise up. You'll only contribute to shitting up the thread if you respond to it.
>>120361338
Because you thought you were right, and that the content wasn't insulting, and now you're butthurt that the flaws in your reasoning where pointed out.
>>120361346
Good job trying to make me mad. Actually all you did that was just further prove you don't give a shit about the characters. Really, you're not smart. And also further proved that threads are better without you. Go a head and look at the whole last thread that was over 500 posts.
>>120361314
Please keep your intolerance out of the thread I made. I don't think any of those posters desired to insult the characters in the slightest. As I've said, reactions like yours is exactly why the joke works so well.
>>120361425
>that file
Literally the only person.
>>120361416
I'm so hype for the VN getting fully translated that I can't notice the shitposting!
>>120361425
>>120361434
>>120361477
>whole last thread there is not a single crack image
>suddenly this thread has two people spamming it
You're not fooling anyone.
And yes, you using them as tools for shitposting is insulting. And shitposting was your intention. You thinking it's funny and a joke does mean that you're not insulting them. Being as stupid as you should be bannable.
Even if you think it's just for the "funny reaction" what you are objectively doing to the characters is insulting them. Because you are implying they are cheap and shallow.
Regardless of everything else, that' still what you are doing.
You are shitting on the because you think it's funny that other people will point out what you are doing.
>>120361366
>he doesn't think people shitting on the characters is shitting up the thread
Can you say double standard much?
We will never know.

I'm also the one that translated Scenarios 1, 7 and 10. I only just started using 4chan because I wanted to make sure people got the GodHand translation script I did ASAP, so I'm not too familiar with why people keep throwing the word shitposting around for anything they disagree with. But I'm pretty ashamed to see someone raging irrationally about crack pairings and subsequently inviting more people to add onto it, leading to the thread being about that instead of discussion about the VN and how great it is that people managed to prepare scripts so that the entire thing is translated for people to play through.
Especially because everything I've seen till now has mostly been positive discussion, leading to me thinking that there could be no bad people amongst YukiYuna fans.
>>120361749
Don't mind him, he ruins every thread with his posts about crack pairings, even for shows he hasn't watched yet. Just ignore him and report his posts.
Thanks man.
>>120361749
The person in particular is a cross threader and I am not even sure if it watched the show.
Anyway, don't worry and thanks for your hard work, alsolurk moar
>>120361749
Crack- kun is a weird troll, not all of 4chan is like that. Well, it's not always really better, but at least not as weird.
I want Tougou-sensei to teach me the art of girls loving each other
>>120361802
>>120361906
Are you trying to provoke him even further?
>>120361749
Maybe I should give them a look over myself.
"わ means is"-anon, you, is a really shitty translator. And no, you made a lot more posts than that. But lying is one of your trade marks. But, if you're so wise and smart, please do tell what's irrational about the statements being made.
It's pretty cut and dry. You are insulting the characters for the reasons mentioned before. Cut and dry.
>>120361786>>120361793>>120361793>>120361810
Pffffffffft Holy fuck, my sides.
Dude, you are trying SO HARD.
It's obvious as shit all of those posts are yours and that you are replying to yourself.
>two posts about "i bet the guy didn't watch the show lol"
Yeah, not going to happen. Especially when there wasn't a single mention of this in the entire last thread.
>abusing spoiler text to say lurk moar
My sides continue to orbit.
You need to stop ruining threads.
>>120361749
I don't know which is funnier, someone telling me I haven't lurked enough for merely pointing out how I preferred to believe discussion would be mostly cordial on just YukiYuna threads, the obvious troll that's calling me a shitty translator or the person that's spamming Yuna x Karin.
Oh well, hopefully some people actually check out the scenario script I just did.
>>120362057
Just put on your happy smile face and ignore everything that's bad.
>>120362057
Probably you trying this hard is the funniest.
>>120362124
I don't think it's possible for anyone to be disheartened as long as they remember the Hero Club's Tenets anyway. It sure worked wonders for me.
>>120362057
>hopefully some people actually check out the scenario script I just did
I won'tGotta wait until it's inserted for the full experience
Anyone else watching Death Parade?
I'm a bit confused, when they list the five rules of the bar in that show they go like hitotsu, futatsu, mittsu, etc.
But Karin goes always hitotsu with the five tenets. I mean, I understood the explanation why she always said hitotsu, but now I'm confosed.
>>120361824
>メガロポリスは一日にして成らず
>Megalopolis can't be attained in a day
>>120362326
Karin isn't listing them off, but rather saying something like "here's one rule, here's another" ect.
>>120362326
In YuYuYu every tenet is the first one, because they are equally important, hence HITOTSU
>>120362326
All the tenets are the first one just like how all the girls are the best one

I really want to see some cute full length yuri doujinshi already. There's just so much possible stories you cover for the Yuusha.
YuunaxTougou is a miracle of the universe
What's with all those fanarts with girls kissing? Do japs believe Yuyuyu is a spin-off of 桜Trick?
>>120363153
It's because they are magical girls. And girls kissing girls is magic in my book.
>>120363153
Considering that Tougou is a canon lesbian and the only reason she isn't munching on Yuuna's carpet every night is because it would hurt the sales I'm not surprised fans are filling in the holes.
>>120363153
Yeah man, where could they possibly get such ideas from?
>>120363153
Incidentally the first image posted in this thread has Togo holding Sonoko's book titled "Yuusha Trick"
>>120363272
Yes
>>120362057
Other translator here. I'm inserting it now, but I'm heavily editing the script to fix errors, improve wording, and mostly to try make things more concise since the engine's kinda finicky with character count.
I hope you'll check out the final script so you can learn a few things. That's one of the ways I learned. The other was to keep practicing.
>>120363815
Thanks anon.
>>120362057
Confusing わ for "is" is a really stupid mistake.
And the only troll here is you. Because you're the one trying to get negative reactions out of people.
Pointing out how your actions are belittling to the characters is in no way "trolling".
All that's left now is to patch the VN!
And then we can have our final farewell party Sonocchi After.
Gonna miss these threads.
>>120364128
Eh, everything must come to an end, specially when /a/ starts to get mad at a fanbase.
Anyway, I seriously believe this won't be over with Sonoko After but eh, if it is it has been a nice ride and thankfully there will be vivid and symphogear soon.
>>120360544
I think that the idea of Itsuki having a minor crush on Yuuna is cute, just like Itsuki!
>VN actually fully translated
>still the same pointless shitposting
I'm becoming seriously tsundere for this fanbase.
Anyway, thanks a lot OP and everyone else involved in this.
>>120364266
>I think that Itsuki [...] is just like Itsuki
I would hope so. We all know you meant Karin. But thankfully enough, you're just a bad shitposter, and can't eloquent posts well.
Oh and
>I think it's cute that Itsuki would be guaranteed to have her feelings crushed is cute!
Yeah, kawaii as fuck.

>>120364246
>>120364386
I don't know about you guys, but I'm personally proud to have seen the rise of the most shitposting-filled thread of the season. I'll never forget.
>>120364564
I'm not putting it on my CV that's for sure.
>>120364529
I'm sure that Yuuna would let her down gently, and it isn't as if it would come as a shock. Plus we've already seen that Itsuki is strong enough as a person to get over it and become a better person.
>>120364564
Are any of these 4koma transled anyways? I was reading the YuYuYu one on Batoto but translations stopped after chapter 4.
Reminder that Itsuki is the strongest Yuusha.
>>120364705
>Never panics or gets angry despite arguably getting the rawest deal of any of the girls after Episode 5
>Despite being the youngest girl always manages to hold her own in battle and even saves the day a few times.
She really was too good for this world.
>>120364266
>>120364650
Damn it. Now I kind of want to draw a short comic or something of this.
>>120364650
Yeah, gently or not you're still taking joy in her needless pain and suffering.
>inb4 that's what this show is about
>>120364840
How about not bastardizing Itsuki's character instead?
>>120364906
It's not needless if she makes her grow as a person. Life is full of pain, but that pain helps us to see that life can be full of joy too. To say that life is only one or the other is a lie.
>>120364780
The closest she came to that was when they got back from the first mission, she cried on Fuu's chest.
But only AFTER they were back on the roof and she had been repeatedly assured that it was all over.
And she was over it in a very short time.
Itsuki is some sort of saint.
>>120364906
>love means suffering
Okada pls
>>120361749
Thanks translator-kun, I love you in a non-sexual way
>>120364780
It's a really crazy situation, episode 4 and 7 implies all of her strength comes from her mimicking her sister yet she keeps that on even after Fuu brakes down.
>>120363815
I definitely will, because I'm always interested in how to make things sound more natural, I already check what's edited against my script. But I also think that some of the current script in the game that was changed from my script makes me wonder about the edits.
Majority of the errors would be just my preconceptions about things. I used to volunteer at old folks' homes when my really old relative was there and all I saw was really old people. I also volunteered at a home for mentally disabled children before, and when I translated the scenario, I was wondering whether to use nursing home or senior citizen's home. Because I thought nursing home wasn't mutually exclusive to senior citizens due to my experience, on top the of the dictionary I consulted suggesting the proper translation of 老人ホーム as to reflect the Roujin part, I felt that nursing home wasn't an accurate translation. http://i.imgur.com/5XhC2yr.png
The line after that with Fu agreeing to Itsuki's question.
風は、うむと頷く.
My translation "Fu nods, with a Uh-huh" reflects the SFX given in the sentence, whereas your treatment of it was to remove it altogether.
Characters like my favorite Kurugaya in LB! also use this interjection when talking a lot, so I felt the need to reflect that accurately.
Personally I was also stuck with a similar problem on two lines a little bit further after this.
東郷がふぅむ、と考える.
Yours: Togo begins to think.
Mine: Togo starts to think with a "Hmm.."
東郷がびっ、敬礼をする。
Both: Togo salutes sharply.
ゆ友奈はビッ、と気合いをいれた。
Yours: Yuna gets fired up.
Mine: Yuna gets fired up sharply.
For the first one, you removed the noise that the text said Fu made in assent to Itsuki's question. You did the same for Togo's murmur on the second one. But kept it for the third one and removed in from the fourth one. That just left me confused.
>>120364974
Didn't the other anon specify a "minicrush" anyways? Those usually just leave you slightly sad over a short while, kinda like disappointment, rather than outright heartbroken and depressed.
>>120364974
It is needless when that character growth serves no purpose other than your twisted desire to see her get hurt. Or that character growth could happen a myriad of other ways.
>>120365074
No one said that. Stop being retarded.
Having your crush turn you down without fail is suffering. Not love in general.
>>120365213
Mini or otherwise anything more than nothing is still needless suffering. Especially when you're forcing her into the character position when nothing in the series would indicate anytihng of the sort.
>>120365324
I don't think the anon was saying the hypothetic scenario where she suffers was the cute part, but rather the admiration and fondness that comes before.
You're far too negative.
>>120363815
Mine
Fu: Hmph. During my primary school days, I was enough of a literary genius for my works to win the city's contest. If it's just a love romance, I can easily write it finish in a flash.
Yours
Fu: Hmph. Back in elementary, my literary genius even won city contests. I can easily finish a simple romance in a flash.
My childhood was spent in Asia and I have Europe origins and I currently live in Australia. That's why I'm very used to calling it primary instead of elementary because in a Chinese majority, which is the same as Japanese, it's called and translated in English as Primary One, Primary Two etc, therefore the noun I call it as is Primary School as well.
Fu uses ぐらい, therefore an accurate translation would have been "enough of a literary genius". The katakana she says is ラブロマンス, so I translated it 1:1 as love romance, but you went with romance by itself, which I personally couldn't decide on which is better as I can too list countless examples of when loan words are extended beyond their English counterparts. You also removed the verb 書く from your translation and left it as "finish it in a flash". I agree that your translation changes to my script make it an overall more pleasant and less stiff conveying of what they're saying, but isn't removing entire verbs and nouns and SFX interjections from the original quote something you shouldn't do?
Also a random side note, my translations are from watching anime from a very young age as well as 6 years of formal education. That said, I don't profess to even know what's the correct translation to go with at most times because I'm personally not fluent enough with my thoughts and comprehension in English to find a suitable way to convey my understanding because I'm too much antisocial. But that doesn't mean I can't understand it myself clearly, but rather just makes it hard for me to make a perfect script in English for others to read. That said, I still made sure to check my script well.
Itsuki can't be homo.
I'm telling you, she's going to get a boyfriend way before Fuu does, making her quite mad in the process.
>>120365149
>Tougou: hiragana びっ
>Yuuna: katakana ビッ
Is it because Tougou doesn't like katakana?
>>120365560
It was mentioned Sumi didn't like it IIRC
>>120365560
Haha, if you thought her patriotism was too far as it is, you should see the "Conquer your weak points" scenario when it gets patched into the script file.
She recommends some GLORIOUS NIPPON idea to Itsuki with reasons that are just as unfounded in anything other than solid patriotism. It's really funny to see everyone in the club being so accepting of this part of her.
>>120365558
That's likely, but at that point Fuu won't care anymore since she'll realize her feelings for Karin soon.
>>120365558
I'm already her boyfriend
