Wish I'd saved the sequel's promo images from an old thread, the girls looked really good.
I got caught up for a few volumes, the material looked promising for a sequel.

I'm probably in the minority, but I really don't feel that Yukino should win. She works much better with 8man as friends as they bounce insults and quips at each other. I'd rather have him end up with Yui, who's a contrast to him and is able to bring him out of his shell better to enjoy life.

Are you referring to the scene when Hachiman injures hid leg and Yukino treats him? God, I would love to see that. Especially the part when their faces are close to each other.

I'm only up to vol. 9, but I'm not seeing any real romantic tension between the two other than the typical spaghetti on 8man's side.
I just think Yui is a better fit for him because she both complements and brings out his good side. Yukino is too similar to achieve the same effect.

Yui is definitely a better choice. I'm not disagreeing there, but I just find the chemistry between Hachiman and Yukino to be much stronger considering the recent events. Read the rest of the LN. You'll see what I mean.

Volume 10 is the Hayama Volume. Not to spoil anything big but Hachiman opens up to Yukino a bit, and she does too as well. Like I said, read it and you'll see.
