I don't think I can handle watching Fava and Amira's final talk again. While it was nothing mind blowing and pretty predictable, it was just animated so beautifully, they both looked great and the music just really set the tone well.

It had a weird Ghibli quality to it for me. Which was weird since they dropped the whole "WE NEED TO SAVE HER, NOT KILL HER" as soon as they landed in Bahamut because being there was like hiking in a mine-filled mountain.
Still, that epilogue was really hopeful and implied that Favaro would try and save her. I fucking loved how Favaro became more heroic and Kaisar became more cunning by the end of the series, it was so satisfying seeing both of them growing closer together and rubbing off on each other.

Here's what I could graze from first viewing; apologies if I misheard anything.
- The guy with the beard is Yoshihiro Ike, the composer; other two guests are Ootsuka from MAPPA and Kimura, a producer for the game.
- There really is a Ghibli staffer, past or current, named Yamashita, who worked on the episode; he and Satou are old friends. (At this point all the commenters in the stream started writing "homooooo".) They worked together on a 'giant robot OAV', which had a lot of people mention 'Gロボ', which might be Giant Robo?
- Having Kaisar with his hair down at the end was a last-minute decision.
- Apparently the concert is really going to happen - they've even set the dates, May 1st and 2nd (during Golden Week). Among other things they're expecting to have Risa Shimizu sing Promised Land with a full orchestra.
- This was the last regular Yoru no Fantasy but they'll probably have another one at the next screening event.

And it was indeed Giant Robo they both worked on. Satou was key animator on several latter episodes and was even animation director for episode 6. So that's yet another amazing show that he worked on and I didn't even realize it.

They squeezed it into one of the next-episode previews that he made the clock-hilt of his sword, so yeah, it's possible that's his hobby or something.
