For me, I'd like to see the main conflict of the story be the protagonists disabling alien stuff and reverse engineering them while having limited resources.
From your posts, it seems that you like strong protagonists from the start while his struggles in order to get strong is just in flashbacks or small implications.
They focus on two different aspects. Altering it from "struggle against superior aliens with limited tech" to just "killing aliens with instant alien tech" would make a different show.

An anime about daily lives of ninjas with "real ninja powers", by which I mean not some Naruto bullshit, more like the saboteurs from Chaika or Akatsuki from LH:
stealth, super-speed and agility, mad dagger skills and other stuff which helps in these ninja activities.
Sadly I have no idea for a story setting. Maybe a cool adaptation of the 50 Ronin, tho those were Samurai.

They don't already have to be strong, I just want to means to beat the aliens to already be there. Think of something like Nobunagun. The AU weapons already exist, DOGOO already collected the historical figures and has a fighting force, and their struggle comes from the aliens which are constantly evolving based on their fights. That's what's exciting for me. Not watching the protangonists "unexpectedly" turn a "losing fight" around.
After rewatching the first few episodes of Gargantia, I'd like something similar with a soldier with a mech/ship/advanced tech that gets stuck in a place with less advanced tech and turmoil and then stays that soldier throughout the series with turning too soft and without big amounts of "UNDERSTANDING". The first few episodes were exactly what I wanted

One thing Takashi Miike frequently makes his best films about, are the outsiders in modern Japanese society. The fringe of the culture.
While Arakawa Under the Bridge attempted this for poverty, no Anime (with the possible exemption of Tokyo Godfathers) really has tried to make one about the outsider.
It would be fascinating to have a series about an immigrant working both as a government ensign and the Yakuza. Put them at the edge of both and have the viewer see how both the Yakuza and the government are highly bureaucratic organizations that punish the outsider.
Another series concept would revolve around the Mother and the Daughter. The only anime to really invest in this was Wolf Children and it was a huge success. Lone wolf and cub style stories (but with Mother/Daughter) pairings have been done already (Michiko e Hatchin) but the Mother/Daughter dynamic is not readily explored.

Honestly, I think that I've seen just about everything there is to see in an anime, I've watched many different anime lol. Anime that I've really enjoyed were the "darker" ones, lately I've been watching a lot of lighter anime and by that I mean the colors, which is something that I do love too. I really love the anime Space Dandy and recently No Game No Life, I'm mentioning these because of their art style, I love their art styles! No Game No Life season 2 soon pls. :) Keep on making great anime, there are many who love and appreciate it!!! <3

I wouldn't want a powerlifting anime. I'd like to see an anime about a weightlifting gym open to the public. We'd be introduced to the diverse cast, both boys and girls who come from different backgrounds and train different things.
The gym would have a retired weightlifter who would hang around there and eventually coach the most hardworking(but shitty) lifter who would eventually go to the Olympics. Later, due to an accident the coach wouldn't be able to make it, but as MC steps out onto the platform he sees the entire cast who trained and encouraged him through his journey cheering for him and hewins aided by the power of friendship
Shounen DJ anime. Two DJ enter into a battle and spin the turntables, one leaves. Like the beyblade anime in the way the DJ summon a monster through their music to fight. Featuring remixes/mashups of well known music.

I'd like to see more shows that focus on adults and their problems instead of teenagers. I know that's the demographic and all that, but the random show that has a MC that's not a teenager is a plus. (Monster, Mushishi etc)
