Never happened. I never ask other people.
I just test everything that looks interesting to me and decide if I watch it or not. Everyone has a different taste.

While the manga was actually about cute xmas cake teacher doing cute thingsthe joke release was about the main character having sex with the student and get fired because of it, she regret it and ends with her crying

It can be difficult and annoying at times, but I've always enjoyed academic stuff. Also, there's a big selection of manga that include furigana, so they're accessible even if you don't know many kanji.I think most people get turned off by the enormity of the reading/writing aspect. The grammar isn't particularly difficult. Overall, it's more of a marathon than a sprint, I guess.

I never really got people crying over lack of updates. I just follow 400+ series and get a steady stream of around 10 chapters a day. It sucks that a lot of it wont update but it really cant be helped.
