But I never bothered to check out any of the other boards. I thought it was just a porn site, I didn't know people actually talked about things and made epic maymays here.
I left 4chan and pretty much the internet in general for a few years. Occasionally went to dumps like 7chan for porn, and ate up their rhetoric about 4chan being for babies. For some reason, I got the urge to give 4chan another shot in 2008, and the rest is history.
