It establishes their whole dynamic before everything starts tumbling down. It is also the comfiest Asuka has been domestically since she was 3 and that is sad as hell.

Shinji and Asuka had the most boring dynamic in the entire show.
Every episode focusing on them was uninteresting filler, fortunately there weren't too many as Asuka was relegated to a background prop like 5 episodes after her introduction. She really dragged the show down.

This was easily the worst issue yet.
Every story was so meh in content and just boring borderline vanilla garbage.
Clover was pretty hilarious but not as a femdom in the slightest, just it's own funny thing.
Every previous issue was heaps and tons better than this.

Why was this series so shit? The first part featured a crabby bitch, and the second part moved at a snail's pace. In the third part, it felt like the author was just monkeying around, and the girl in the fourth part was a total snake in the grass. The fifth part was just a total catastrophe. I couldn't beelieve my eyes when the quality rose like a phoenix in Nisemonogatari. I haven't watched Nekomonogatari yet, so don't let the cat out of the bag about what happens.

My order of importance at the moment is:
1) DB, Z (Kai), Super
2) TV Specials (History of Trunks, Bardock, Yo Son Goku)
3) Xenoverse (Explains movies and GT as alternate timelines and gives explanation for alternate timelines/movies/GT and the Time Patrol's intervention with such)
4) Movies
5) GT
6) Various in-game shit (Plan to destroy Super Saiyans)
7) Heroes (as it is an amalgamation of everything above plus crazy ass AF level shit with zero regard for plot)
Am I missing anything?
Also, if I'm correct, the current structure is Timeline 1 = "Original" Timeline (Trunks' future, where time manipulation was first conceived by Bulma), Timeline 2 = Main timeline (DB->Z->Super), Timeline 3 is where our Cell came from and killed the Trunks that went to Timeline 4 (which also had a Cell games without Trunks and had a Cell that came from yet another Timeline erc. etc.)
And GT / filler / some of the movies are just alternate Timelines
And ALL OF THESE ALTERNATE TIMELINES exist under the umbrella that is Universe 7, correct? Or does each timeline have its own set of universes?

I would argue that each timeline has its own set of Gods and thus universes due to the differences of events in the new movies and Super (and Super's manga, and Xenoverse, all of which have their own incarnation of Beerus)
Dragon ball and dragon ball z(show) had a lot of fillers that the manga didn't. Do the fillers count as canon?
Is it all about the money? I loved the Fist of the North Star anime but how long were they going to keep the same formula going? Same goes with most Shonen Jump media.
