The official website for The Lost Village (Mayoiga) anime announced on Saturday that the series will get a novel with an original story. Tsukasa Tsuchiya (Steins;Gate 0) is writing the original story and Kei is providing the illustrations. The novel will ship on August 17.
The "tender, heartrending story" will focus on Lion and the origin of her ability to foresee death. A second volume will focus on Koharun's past.
