Is fansubbing dead?

I used to be a huge supporter of fansubs because they offered the highest quality video, softsubs, subbed karaokes, and at times better translations. but Im almost at the point where Im just going to get HS releases from now on because Im tired of waiting weeks and weeks for shit to be released...

Fansubs have accomplished their goal. More shows than ever are getting subs at a very impressive speed. Having no purpose left, the fansubbing scene resolves. This latter part makes fansubbers superior to the NATO.

hardsubs are terrible and stream quality still doesn't match the raws you get from the TV broadcasts.

Currently at 16:31 through Jinsei's episode 13 subs, and should be done within a couple of hours. The .ass has been timed to "[Zero-Raws] Jinsei - 13 END (BS11 1280x720 x264 AAC).mp4" so go and download that while you wait for me to release the subtitle file.
