With regards to harem and ecchi anime, do you prefer a clueless MC or a perverted one?
A lot of people give dense MCs flak but I think they're much better when it comes to the viewer appreciating the girls. With more perverted ones, you have to listen to some retard spew lines about his fetishes, and they inject themselves into the fanservice scenes whereas dense ones just kind of observe.

The only time I prefer an adaption is for touching scenes that make me want to cry. Anything else I prefer reading source material because it will be way more enjoyable.
