Look at Pokémon Origins. It's a much more faithful adaptation of the games than the main anime and it managed to look much more beautiful.

I think it said in a later episode that the memories served to arbiters are edited by...their managers or some such. So I guess he doesn't know "everything" about them.
More importantly can someone please explain to me the POINT of the show? Is it along the lines of cute arbiters doing cute things?
There's no "moral of the story" at the conclusion of every "story". It's just:

The stories are standalone and the reoccurring characters hardly get any development.
Don't get me wrong, I enjoy watching it but every time I finish an episode I look back and go "OK, so?"
How fucking hard is it to find some English voice actors who can ACT? Why are English dubs almost always so shit, /a/? They shouldn't be if the people in charge of casting aren't constantly fucking things up and picking shitty actors who can't read a script without sounding so dull and uninspired!

They have pretty much no fucking budget like 99% of the time, what are you expecting?
Dub studios can't afford to hire real actors, so they make do with cosplayers at AnimeFest, of which there is a nearly infinite supply.

If you want to support any of the series I dump, please do! Personally I subscribe to Viz's weekly Jump thing but I also buy some of their licensed tanks or import straight from Japan using Honto or CDJapan. You can also buy merchandise as it comes around. All is not lost.
