Just got done listening to the album. Overall I really liked it. I think I'll appreciate it even more when I can hear a lot these themes reach their climax and conclusion. You just know there are going to be big reprisals of stuff in the second season, which, when listened back to back with the first OST, will make a pretty nice complete experience.

Look at it this way, for all the rushed work, Tigre's arrowlad scenes were pretty fucking glorious and if you look at something like LH2 you can see how having more budget and episodes doesn't necessarily help you if the studio is retarded.
Then again, the one doing Vanadis was purdy good given what they had to work with other than the terrible CGI.
