It had a good representation of grief. I experienced something not too far off and had similar reaction that Poppo had. It hit home and offered catharsis without making light of the affects grief has on people.
I see they're doing their best to emulate Pokemon as much as possible, all the way down to giving the anime the 4kids Entertainment treatment.
