No, modern anime is too saturated by unoriginal plots and interesting ideas being ignored.

Regardless of which girl you thought was best, many anons here agreed when Denpa Onna aired that the show would have been better if it was never a harem, and the other girls never introduced. The story starts out with an interesting premise but quickly devolves into just another generic waifu wars.
