In Fate Zero, each resolution has more weight to it. After each battle, characters win or lose in ways consistent with their character and preceding events. In F/sn, events are inconsistent and contrived, and apparently tailor-made to serve the development of the primary characters.
It cannot be helped when it's a VN adaption.

So I just finished watching Charlotte. Was this the edgiest and most out of place episode of anything all year? Don't know how I didn't drop it here.
Charlotte is garbage. It fails to communicate anything and isn't interesting in any aspects.
I dropped it after this episode. Apparently they start time traveling and shit. Bravo Jun Maeda you hack.
The pace was a mess. The actions of various shallow and forgettable characters were terrible. Plot appeared to have not been thought out at all. It was really not good. The only reason it will get any points at all will be solely due to Nao and imouto existing.

Well that's how I feel although I love the artstyle and will always try to find something to watch, most of the time I don't finish it.

Mine is your life is probably getting better. You want to enjoy it and nothing tops it but your quality of life and objectives are high enough for your hobby to take less place in your time.
Other one, a controversial one, anime is actually becoming more shit every season, you don't want to give up on it but you still don't feel interested. Hence why you try to watch some more but never finish it. Basically it's the only hobby you have but it's becoming worse
Alternative one. You're growing up. You find most stories obnoxious or not interesting but you still like the artstyle. Only things that changed are your expectations and your standards are extremely high now but your hobby never changed. The moeshit doesn't please you. SoL doesn't entertain you. Action anime is too generic with messages like friendship gives power, morales you don't need. Romance anime is too simplistic or the girl is too generic. Comedy rare to find your kind of humor. Etc
