I would to discuss a topic I feel is important. Not only to me personally but to all of us.
Does Tomoko smell bad?
While she is sometimes described as "stinky" I think of her as having a distinct but not unpleasant odor. Others disagree and say she would smell quite bad. Tomoki tells her that she doesn't smell bad when she is sweat, so why then do people continue to spread this malicious rumor?
On the back of the volume two passing boys seem to smell her and remark that she smells like grandma/granpa's home. What do you think this means? Is it a neutral smell a bad smell, a strong smell? Is there some cultural Japanese thing I'm missing here?
Another similar even occurs in TomoMote where Yuu says that sniffing Tomoko reminds her of her old pet cat. Does this mean she smells like a cat? But right after that it is reaffirmed that she doesn't not smell.
These are the things we all want answers to I think.
I also feel she bathes regularly and this is demonstrated in the manga, but of course we can know for sure her bathing habits and routine.
I have considered writing a letter to the authors Nico Tanigawa posing this question and asking them for more details and their thoughts, would any of you like to contribute and/or have experience with the best way to write to mangakas in japan?
If possible please list some odors you think would be part of her scent.

Sakura Trick has likable characters but it was only average at best. I enjoyed it but I admit that it wasn't that good. Maybe it was because too much was spent on the kissing and not much on actually developing the characters.
