what's the deal with characters coughing litters of blood in almost every show ? I never really paid attention until I rewatched Excel saga making fun of this cliche through Hyatt.
In medieval settings there's always that pale fragile looking guy who always coughs between every words and vomits gallons of blood when he pushes himself a little. Or this girl in modern settings who spits chunks of lungs. What's the deal ? is it common to have this disease in japan ?
Almost every show? The only cases I can think of where people go spraying blood all over, without the character having been beaten to a pulp or some such, is Excel Saga and Chibi Vampire Karin, and they're both a bit peculiar about it.
So a clear confirmation bias suspect.
That said, it's a very clear and dramatic way if you want to show that someone is severely unwell. By comparison paleness and fever don't show up well in the medium, a general collapse greatly limits the characters ability to act, and going for boils, scabs, and all the other things...

Also the president of Sora no manimani and the teacher of Rakudai.
The teacher lady in Full Metal Alchemist because she gave up her "insides".
Ukitake in Bleach becausehe got sick as a kid and his parents had to bond him to the Soul King's hand in order to live.
All anime characters look better with ponytails
Prove me wrong
Protip: you cant
>>138593250
I can't, you are right.
Which kind of ponytail is best?
I tried to prove you wrong but, man I could not think of anyone.
Found the retard.

TSUTAME PURRAIDO
TSUTAME SUCCESS
In Mirai Nikki, if Yuno had god powers the whole time, why did she let Akise stay alive long enough to steal a kiss from Yuki right in front of her? She should have known it was going to happen from the first world. Did she want to be cucked or something.
Mirai Nikki had inconsistent garbage writing.
It's odd that people still speak of that god abhorrent mess of a show.

I'd like to say I'm surprised that is a thing, but considering how sweet most commercial ketchup is, being put in a cake seems like a logical step
>>138592397
please dont tell me canadians actually make ketchup cake. I thought chips were bad enough.
Which do you like better?

Real=Slam Dunk>Vagabond
i've tried to read slam dunk and didn't get the appeal at all
never read real so i can't tell
so vagabond>slam dunk, even though it has a lot of problems, like concerning the style of narration for example.
Is Real only supposed to be good because I'm supposed to be impressed by a handicapped person being capable of doing things? Or I'm supposed to feel deeply connected to them for their flaws? I saw a documentary once and it was rather shit, athletes having boring lives and being brain-dead retarded. but it irked me because it was so highly rated.
Why doesn't Okabe do this?
Played the game just for this moment
and then nothing happened

basic human decency.
I for my part was positively surprised that they even brought it up.

We still pretending this was good?

>There are people browsing /a/ RIGHT NOW that didn't watch the masterpiece that is Samurai Flamenco
I would say:
>Osamu Tezuka
>Leiji Matsumoto
>Hayao Miyazaki
>Masami Kurumuda
>Akira Toriyama
>Tsukasa Hojo
>Rumiko Takashi

Keep Pro/Anti-Doki shitposting at minimum. The movie is really bad by the way so it doesn't really matter.
Downloading don't die yet
Did casuals like it?

Don't you love one sided romance triangles? Where you know the best girl will win.
I'd rather just have the grumpy wish-fulfillment MC fuck up the flow of the usual high scool drama using nonsensical amounts of subterfuge and cunning again
If I wanted a story about awkward teenagers getting over themselves with some romance shit mixed in I'd watched one of the hundreds and hundreds of existing series that already do this
Yeah but Yui is the one who will win however.
>>138574205
He stills does that to an extent but he changed his outlook now that he has people he cares about and people who care about him.
The romance in this story is completely overstated and has had very little to do with it. Even in vol 11/the last two episodes of S2 barely had any.
I love Sakura, I can't deny it!

Kill yourself, anon; you'll be doing the whole world a favor.
>>138587367
Sakura fags, how do you do it? If people shat on my waifu every day then I would stop posting her.
Well she is the most physically attractive Fate heroine, I'll give her that. Can't say much else though.
Hiroyuki Imaishi is the lead director of a new anime and no one on /a/ is talking about it? I don't understand. Personally, i am really excited what he will come up with, judging from the visuals and the trailer, i think it will be something like Panty and Stocking maybe, but that is just a guess. I'm a bit worried about the air date though, apparently, the first episode will air on April 11.
It's just a short right? They don't get much attention, which is a good thing in my book.
>>138586884
It is? I can't find much info on it by Googling.
Whatever it's about I hope it's different from his other stuff this time.
If it's a short, then he might think it's okay to take the risk and try something brand new.
what's /a/'s opinion on Texhnolyze?
2deep4u
Had to take an hour-long shower after finishing it. Shit really fucked me up.
It attracts the worst kind if anime fan but it's probably a good show.
Did you cry to this first episode?
