Minoru is pretty good, it starts slow bu it's grows greatly and the last tournament translated has been great.
Neither baki nor tough are fully translated but Garouden is, so if you have an inch for a good fighting manga, I'd highly recommend it.

For Dragon Life, it could be her going to kingdom to kingdom, insinuating herself into their society, then eating the people she deemed the tastiest. Or she could have stayed where she was and demanded the kingdom give her tributes of meals in exchange for being their sacred animal and helping them in the war. So many possibilities that weren't a generic shoujo.
For Realist's Kingdom Reforms, I think even a monkey could have thought of ways to keep a good story going without resorting to nip wanking and pointless SOL filler.
For Slime, you could have just had the same general story without the guy being such a jap beta loser who spent his time as a little girl. He's supposed to be a monster for fuck's sake, why do they have to bait and switch every concept?
And that's not even touching on other shit like Dragon's Bloodline, Kansutoppou, or Kumo that manage to ruin their initial neat concepts with cliched shit.
