Its because its easiest to draw. The animators dont have to show so many characters at 1 time. It also makes it so the characters can see outside. This could help further move along the plot.

Alright /a/, explain something to me. If a beautiful girl asks you, or calls you master, would you honestly refuse that hard? Its not even just shirou, but any character that this happens too. You know, I feel like the english dub for this is actually okay in an unintended way.
Since the show is one big parody of anime, the naruto-tier dubbing actually helps play into that, adding another layer of parody to make the experience more enjoyable. I can't say whether or not i'd prefer it over the sub, but it's simple dumb fun, and honestly that's what KLK was shooting for.
