Why is good immortal/non-immortal stuff so rare? The only good stuff you can find is very short and often span the same sort of time frame a normal relationship would.
Hardly any author that uses the immortality concept to it's full potential by utilizing timeskips and character aging/growth.
I can only really think of 1 or 2 series that actually span a large gap of time. It seems like the immortality thing is unnecessary and used like "Oh she looks 10 but she's actually 500, so it's cool" in a lot of stuff (pic not related).

I thought the last episode was quite good, it's got a nice balance of relaxation and comedy. It's mostly a one joke show but it hasn't gotten dry yet, it seems like the cast will be big so I'm hoping that keeps things interesting going forward.
