YYH was superior in every respect. Better characters, better premise, better story arcs, better OST, better pacing, and a better fanbase. HxH is cancer and should have been laid to rest years ago.
HxH because it's better written, more interesting and less predictable. YYH is a pretty good battle shounen but HxH is what Togashi can do without editors influencing him too much, it feels a lot less generic.
