Hey Blender Fags, I'm having a boolean issue and idk wtf is going on, I got one set of holes on this gun barrel all nice, but this happens when I try to do the next set.
Literally half of the barrel disappears...

Check the boolean object for non manifold geometry. Go edit mode, Select-> select by trait->non manifold. If you find any, merge or close the mesh. Also do ctrl+n for good measure.

The geometry of those objects look terrible. I don't even know how booleans would work with fucked up topology like that

it's entirely possible to get the holes in the pipe you want w/o booleans

Why would you want to?
big donate banner right in the description lmao

it's just a matter of preference and avoiding cleanup, they seem to be making it more difficult for you anyway to make those holes.
Ok I fixed the boolean error, but I'm running into another issue, how can I fill in the walls of these holes the fastest? Without doing it completely manual.
Another view of what I'm working with, Already did one manually

Jesus anon, use math. Create one hole section, then just array on x or something to get the length, then array that entire section 360 with an offset to create the cylinder shape.

Use this, you literally just have to hold f.

This addon might already be in your version of blender, just activate it.
Don't make all the holes at once though. There are many smarter ways of tackling this shape you're doing. You could start with a flat plane and bend it into a cylinder after you're done or you could boolean only one "module" and use array and mirror to repeat it as many times as you need.

Great and clean technique.
