There are tons of sites where you can sell clean 3D stuff but what about the adult rated items?

Is there any good site for selling 3D dicks for Poser/DAZ Studio? Is Renderorica any good?
>>
>>497371

I can't speak to the level of business or anything there, but I knew the guy that founded it (Legume) before he even had the idea for the site. He is a massive douchebag, and -hates- 3d being used for porn. He founded it because porn makes money, not because he personally supports it.

If he's still involved with it, you can expect an ambivalent attitude toward any problems you have or piracy of your stuff, just because of how he views 3d porn in general.

Yes, it is. Lali's Bits is popular for a reason and Davo is a god of monster rape props/creatures. A number of Renderosity/RDNA vendors also sell there although they might not use the same names.

Is this the same Legume that did the Jesus is coming, grab a towel shit he used to spam alt.binaries.poser on usenet?

I do remember the shitstorm he created with his image of Jesus backhanding his mom with the caption "whoose my father, bitch."

Seems rather hypocritical.

Lali's Bits is pretty good but thanks to Poser's slow as fuck update development G3F products are the latest, and greatest.
Poser's skeleton can't handle can't keep up, or produce result fast enough.

Everyone is waiting for Poser to produce results, and so far you could depend a constipated donkey to shit faster than Poser to produce results.

Thanks, Grandmaw. Time to STFU, take your meds, and go to bed now.

11's in beta right now.
>>
>>497410

It is indeed. He is kind of fucked up, I think.
>>
>>497515
Wait, serious? Renderotica is owned by an evangelical Christian?

They have the best digital vaginas, and penises online.
>>
>>497371
Renderotica is the only site for such Poser/DAZ accessories. It is not easy, but most companies such as Pay-Pal, and other online money transfer companies have rules against merchandising pornographic content.
This has made it hard to establish such websites.
>>
>>497371
It would be nice if there were more, but not many seem to have the income, or the guts to keep it going.

There was a site animotions.com/ that sold some, and a non JCM'less Mariko model, but the site died.
It would also be nice if there were a company simular to Poser, or DAZ that exclusively dwelt with 3d erotica models, but that too seems wishful thinking.
I find it amazing that in this day, and age porn is still treated so badly, when sex is what attracts, and inspires so much attention out of us.
Porn, sex what everyone wants but can't acknowledge because so much shame has been attached to it.
>>
>>497635
Most other markets were the result of people being angry with Renderosity and going it alone. Animotions was a nice idea but too specific to be viable, 3dcommune wasted money on print magazines, and time present there are a few reasonably successful e-shops run by developers to sell their own wares. A few of them are people who pulled out of DAZ3D and took their content with them.

>It would also be nice if there were a company simular to Poser, or DAZ that exclusively dwelt with 3d erotica models

That's Renderotica. It's been around for 15 years and conveniently serves the market that Renderosity and RuntimeDNA won't.

When (if) Project E ever finishes, they'll supposedly sell through their own website.
>>
>>497658
Project E?
>>
>>497682
Fully working female model with built in hi res lady bits.
She includes JCMs like no other.

I can't post his blogspot page, but search: erogenesis Project E

Point is if you want a model that looks sexy when posed you need a model made by someone interested in making it sexy.
>>
>>497507
Yes, as they supposedly have been for over two months.

>supposedly have been
then I guess the people posting renders with it who aren't SM staff are all lying, right?
>>
>>497756
If it weren't for the urgent case of an update being needed to correct all of their previous fuck-ups, that might be funny.

No one is lying, but they should consider becoming cocaine addicts if it produces results. Every month, week, day, hour, or minute my temper grows waiting. They have been consistently slow with most everything, and this time tolerance has been worn off.

SM's sending daily spam for shit I'll never want. I'm literally punching walls waiting for these cock suckers to show something because I am at a complete stand still waiting.
In the time that I've typed this I've fantasized about burning each their houses just to see it if got them to move faster.
>>
>>497758

Spend the time waiting more productivly, then. Learn Maya or Blender, and zBrush, then go make your own content.

That can be said about anyone with anything. What business is it of any of us what people do in the privacy of their own and not harming others?

Judgmental prick worry about yourself before casting stones.
>>
>>497872

Aren't there some photons you should be fapping to?
>>
>>497878

I would, but your mother is so fat that light can't escape her gravity well.
>>
>>497758
>If it weren't for the urgent case of an update being needed to correct all of their previous fuck-ups

elaborate but also acknowledge that people really are beta testing 11 right now
>>
>>497903
There has been mention they are beta testing but all of it rumor. Anyone's guess at this time. There have been a few examples of superfly renders shown at renderosity but no proof of anything.
>>
>>497903
There is no proof of anything. SM hasn't released any official information on anything. There have been two blog posts by CT hinting to some of the new features, but absolutely no word on if or when a release date.
Many assume they intend to release before 2016, but even that is anyone's guess.
Are they in the package design phase? Don't know. Still beta testing? Don't know. A release date? Don't know.
Can't confirm anything but their absolute silence which I find worrisome since it suggests they are not close to producing results anytime soon.
>>
>>497758
>In the time that I've typed this I've fantasized about burning each their houses just to see it if got them to move faster.

That sounds desperate.
>>
>>497963
Take nothing serious.
>>
If I see one more grab-ass whining about how Smith Micro needs to implement support for .duf files (as if that's all there is to it), I am going to lose my shit.
>>
>>498038
That is a lost cause at this point. If DAZ wishes to help vendors by making their content available to Poser (again, but more stable) that would be mighty nice of them, but since they've made it clear they want their own exclusive market all that I can offer DAZ are obscene hand gestures, and sharp profanity.
DAZ has pissed off a lot of people who have supported them for years not to mention their own exclusive dedicated users.
>>
>>498040

At this point, fuck DAZ. There is no reason to use generation 5+ stuff anyway, now that you can weight paint your figures right inside of Poser (been using Poser since 4.0). Properly weighted generation 3 and 4 figures are better than the gen 5+ stuff, imo, and easier to work
with.
>>
>>498153

An additional thought: rigging for Poser is easy as fuck. There's no reason not to just export whatever DAZ content you want to use in Poser as an OBJ if nothing else, and just rig it yourself. There are even dummies out there you can transfer basic weights from to get you started.
>>
>>498154
>transfer basic weights

That is a lot of work easier done, than sounds. Yet, it can be done.
A better way to import G3 to Poser is exporting G3 as a collada (DAE) file out of DAZ, and into Poser the same way.

The thighs, wrists, face bends are messed up, and there are MANY bones rigged into the face.
Really it is a lot of work for someone just wanting to load a model and go. But it at least bypasses the DYSON bullshit.
