W-what are some games t-that'll play nice under GNU/Linux-libre, /wsr?/
>>13277
B-but they just bully me there...
Most source engine games run on gnu/linux... not well but they run.
>>13286
B-but the source engine is nonfree botnet!
>>13244
b-but anon, almost all games /are/ proprietary software.
If you want your freedoms respected, stick to Quake 2, Tuxracer, and that one where little bill gateses try to put windows on your computers and you have to click on them.
>>13290
T-that makes no sense! W-who would sacrifice essential freedoms for the sake of video games they don't even like?
>>13290
There are plenty of free software games out there. Not much, but a couple good ones in most genres.
DMC4
If you have the original game you can play on wine.
to gitgud, play on keyboard
>>13308
>wine
>using the botnet emulator for your games
>>13244
just stick to colossal cave and other adventure games, rogue, angband, and other roguelikes.
Battle for Wesnoth is a nice strategy game. Dwarf Fortress will eat your time (but is not open source).
>>13244
Stop stuttering like a fucking faggot asswipe and use Windows you weeaboo piece of shit.
Here are some lists.

Which ones of those respect my freedoms, and which ones will submit your machine to the botnet?
These are important distinctions, anon
Looks like there's nothing for you to play because you're so goddamn insecure.

^Pony. OK, this one technically doesn't have a native Linux version even though they claim in their FAQ that Linux is supported. Their download section actually just says for you to run the Windows version under Wine.

Which distro of linux are you running? Is it ubuntu? Go into the Software Center, click "GAMES" and install all of them.
Kubuntu? Do the same in Muon.
Fedora? Lol go tip yourself off a cliff.
Gentoo? Go make your own game. You might as well with how much work it'll be to compile that shit.
Why would you want to be cool if you could be radical instead?

I've been playing RTCW and Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory and Quake 3 for years.
The source is free, but the assets (images, sounds etc.) are under regular copyright, which I don't have a problem with.
Stop stuttering and play Dustforce, hotline miami. Faggot.

It's objectively the best way to tell your computer to do something, since it is literally telling your computer to do something.
