Overwatch devs decided to fix balance issues in comp by slapping on a hero limit instead of fixing the balance issues and all the leaguebabbies cheered. Figured if I'm going to have to put up with bullshit forced metas and class limits in comp, I might as well come back to TF2.

It wasn't awful it was just underwhelming.
For those of us that have been in the beta since april it wasn't exactly anything new. All the problems that were in the comp beta are still in the full release, although at least they've made sniper and engineer more useful since comp isn't just "5cp and nothing else".
the balance changes were also disappointing. There weren't many, although some major changes are welcome like medic speed spy, 50 metal teles and medics now being able to run at scout speed regardless of medi gun when healing. Heavy got nerfed and in other news the sky is blue.
Despite the fact that the TF team said they wanted to balance weapons so that they didn't need to be banned in league literally all the game breaking weapons are untouched with the exception of the quick fix and crit a cola getting a light slap on the wrists.
They fucked up quickplay incredibly on day 1 and i still don't like the fact that it's 12v12 comp lite. Hopefully it will mean more community servers running maps though.
New taunts, crates and stranges.
Optimization has been made somewhat more okayer but it's still fucked.
